- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years, Maximum 27 years as on 30.04.2026 (Relaxation: SC/ST - 5 years, OBC (NCL) - 3 years, IFFCO deceased employee dependent - 3 years, Ex-apprentices of IFFCO - 3 years for all categories)

- Eligibility: Only Ex-Apprentices who have completed or will complete their apprenticeship by 30.04.2026 under Apprentices Act 1961 from IFFCO/Phosphatic Fertilizer Industry/Heavy Chemical Industry/Petroleum Refinery/Petrochemical industry are eligible.
- Higher Qualification Restriction: Candidates possessing higher professional qualifications such as B.E./B.Tech/MBA/MCA/CA/LLB or any equivalent qualification are NOT eligible.
- Mode of Study: Qualifications acquired through part-time/correspondence/distance education mode are NOT eligible.
- Lateral Entry Diploma: Candidates possessing Diploma under recognized lateral entry scheme (Class–XII (Sc.)/ITI admitted in 2nd year of Diploma course) are eligible subject to meeting prescribed percentage based on aggregate of 4 semesters.
- Suppression of Information: Suppression of information regarding possession of or pursuing higher qualifications shall render a candidate ineligible at any stage of selection and may lead to termination during employment.
- Age Proof: Certificate issued by a Board of Secondary Education for passing Matriculation/Higher Secondary shall be the only acceptable document for proof of age.
