- Selection will be by way of Interview.
- Candidates will be shortlisted for interview in the ratio of 1:3 on the basis of qualification, experience, etc.
- Shortlisted candidates serving in Govt./Quasi Govt. offices, Public Sector Undertakings including Nationalized Banks and Financial Institutions must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer at the time of interview.
- Selected candidates will have to undergo a pre-recruitment medical examination. Final appointment will be made only for candidates declared medically fit by the Bank’s Medical Officer.

- Place of Posting: NABARD Head Office, Mumbai.
- Period of Contract: 02 years from the date of appointment, extendable for a further period of 03 years (one year at a time), not exceeding 05 years in total.
- Notice Period: One month’s notice required by either party for termination. If notice period is not served, the Specialist must pay an equivalent sum for the notice period.
- Annual Increment: Up to a maximum of 10% based on satisfactory performance and Bank’s discretion.
- Superannuation Benefits: Specialists are NOT entitled to Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, or any other superannuation benefits.
- Leave: Maximum 30 days per calendar year on a proportionate basis. Un-availed leave cannot be carried forward.
- Accommodation: Quarters allotted subject to availability at 0.5% of remuneration as licence fee; OR Fixed HRA of 10% of remuneration if quarters not allotted.
- Medical Facility: For self only, at the Bank’s Dispensary wherever available.
- Travelling/Halting Allowance: Admissible as applicable to officers of equivalent grade for official tours outside headquarters.
- Legal Status: Contract basis only; no right/claim for regular/permanent employment in NABARD.
- Tax Liability: Tax deducted at source as per Income Tax Act. Compensation is cost to NABARD inclusive of statutory payments.
