- Contract Period: Initially for one year, extendable subject to annual review of satisfactory performance and project requirement, or co-terminus with the project period.
- Probation Period: Initial 3 months will be a probation period during which NABCONS can terminate services without notice or reason.

- Other Facilities (Junior Level Consultant): Lodging on actual basis (up to ₹2500/diem for metro centres), Halting Allowance (₹800/diem normal), Petrol Allowance ₹4000/month, Medical Insurance ₹8000/year, PF contribution as applicable, Mobile expenses ₹500/month, Lunch allowance ₹1500/month, 24 days permissible absence per year.
- Annual Increment: 5% annual revision in remuneration after one year of satisfactory service.
- Travel: 3AC or hired taxi/bus for most travel; special permission for flight where one-way train/bus journey exceeds 24 hours.
- No Accommodation: NABCONS will not provide accommodation for selected/appointed candidates.
- Exclusivity: Selected candidates shall not take up any part-time/full-time employment or assignments elsewhere during the contract period.
- No Regular Absorption: Contractually engaged staff shall have no legal claim to regular absorption during or after the contract period.
- Medical Fitness: Appointment subject to being found medically fit as per NABCONS protocol.
