- Written Examination (Objective Type): Selection will be made through a written examination conducted either in OMR-based Offline mode or Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) mode.
- Paper I: General Studies and General Abilities – 150 Questions, 150 Minutes, 150 Marks (Bilingual: English and Telugu)
- Paper II: Concerned Subject – 150 Questions, 150 Minutes, 300 Marks (English Only)

- OC, Sportspersons & EWS: Not less than 40%
- BCs: Not less than 35%
- SCs, STs & PHs: Not less than 30%

- Tie-Breaking: In case of equal marks, tie-breaking is done based on local status (Telangana candidates preferred), then date of birth (elder candidate gets higher rank), then marks in subject paper(s), then date of passing qualifying examination, then percentage in qualifying examination, then higher qualification, and so on.
- Normalization: For CBRT conducted in multiple sessions, scores will be normalized and results announced on percentile basis.
