- Written Examination (85% of total marks): MCQ-based written test covering Mathematics (20 marks, 10th standard), English (30 marks, 10th standard), General Knowledge (120 marks – Tripura, North-East, India, flora, fauna, climate, soil, river system, life science, physical science, law). Minimum 40% marks required to qualify. Kokborok/Bengali (any one, qualifying in nature, 100 marks). Total marks (excluding Kokborok/Bengali): 200.
- Physical Standard Check (Qualifying): Minimum height and chest girth as per category:
– Male (General & SC): Height 163 cm, Chest 79 cm, Expansion 5 cm
– Male (ST): Height 152 cm, Chest 79 cm, Expansion 5 cm
– Female (UR & SC): Height 150 cm, Chest 74 cm, Expansion 5 cm
– Female (ST): Height 145 cm, Chest 74 cm, Expansion 5 cm - Physical Test (Qualifying): Distance to be covered on foot in 4 hours:
– Male: 25 km
– Female: 16 km - Interview (15% of total marks): Only candidates who qualify in the written examination (cut-off marks decided by selection board) will be called for interview.
- Medical Examination: Candidates qualifying in written test and interview shall undergo medical examination conducted by Health Department, Government of Tripura. Persons with disabilities are not eligible.
