- Nature of Engagement: Purely contractual for one year, extendable up to a maximum of three years subject to satisfactory performance. Engagement may be terminated at any time without prior notice.
- Work Location: Allahabad (Prayagraj) and Lucknow Bench.
- Nature of Work: Legal research, drafting, preparation of note sheets, study of statutes, attending hearings, maintaining case files, preparation of academic papers, and other duties as assigned by the attached Judge.
- Restriction on Practice: For two years from the date of termination, a Research Associate shall not appear before the Judge to whom they were attached. An undertaking to this effect must be furnished.
- Restriction on Academic/Professional Pursuit: No Research Associate shall be involved in any academic or professional pursuit during the tenure without prior permission of the Court.
- Marital Status: Candidates having more than one living spouse or married to a person with a legally living wedded spouse are ineligible.
- Disqualification: Candidates involved in any criminal case (convicted or charge-sheeted) are ineligible. Candidates who have previously worked as Research Associate are not eligible to apply again.
- CGPA Candidates: Must mention corresponding percentage as per the conversion formula provided by their College/University and upload the relevant conversion document.
- Document Upload: Failure to upload required documents or uploading illegible/wrong documents will lead to disqualification.
