Selection Procedure

Written Competitive Examination: An objective type multiple choice written exam of 100 marks and 2 hours duration will be conducted (Offline/Online mode). Questions will be based on the educational qualification of the respective post.
Minimum Qualifying Marks: General/OBC candidates must score at least 45% marks; SC/ST candidates must score at least 35% marks to qualify.
Negative Marking: One-fourth (1/4) of marks assigned to a question will be deducted for each wrong answer. No negative marking for unattempted questions.
Merit List: A merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the written exam. In case of a tie, seniority will be determined by age (older candidate ranked higher), and if age is also equal, by alphabetical order of names.

Total Vacancies: 90 posts under Group ‘C’ direct recruitment in Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Departments.
Age Relaxation: SC/ST/OBC of Uttarakhand: 5 years; PwD of Uttarakhand: 10 years; Freedom Fighter dependents: 5 years; Ex-servicemen: as per rules.
