Engagement of Trade Apprentices will be made purely on merit basis of aggregate marks obtained in ITI.
Preference will be given to children of VPA Employees in the ratio of 4:1:1 (4 for VPA, 1 for CHD, 1 for Outsiders).
Out of the ratio of 4 for children of port employees, a sub-ratio of 2:1:1 will be followed for children of deceased employees / medically invalidated & superannuated employees / serving employees respectively.

Trades will be allotted at the discretion of the Head of the Department.
