Medical Officer (General)

- Qualification: MBBS degree from a recognized University and duly registered in Medical Council. Preference for postgraduate qualification like DPH/MD (Community Medicine)/MD (PSM). 1 year experience in practice of medicine/working experience in Public Health.
- Age Limit: Not more than 37 years as on 1st January of the year of Advertisement. Age relaxation: SC/ST of WB – 5 years; OBC of WB – 3 years; PWD (40% and above) – up to 45 years; Ex-serviceman – as per rules; Contractual employees of KMC – up to 3 years.
- Pay Scale: Pay Level-16 of the Pay Matrix of ROPA-2019

- Bond Submission: Candidates called for document verification must submit a Bond on Rs. 50/- Non-Judicial Stamp Paper stating that in case of appointment they will arrange for temporary lodging/shelter within KMC area for emergency duties.

- Age Proof: Age as recorded only in the Madhyamik or equivalent certificate will be accepted.
- PWD Candidates: Disability of at least 40% and above is required to avail reservation and age relaxation benefits.
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Candidates must submit renewed/revalidated OBC (NCL) certificate prior to interview and at the time of appointment.
- EWS Candidates: Must submit renewed/revalidated Income & Asset certificate (in prescribed format) prior to interview and at the time of appointment.
- SC/ST/OBC from other States: Will be treated as General/UR candidates.
- Multiple Applications: Submission of more than one application for the same post is strictly prohibited and will lead to cancellation of candidature.
