Other Important Information:
- Nature of Engagement: Fixed term contract basis in Mechanical/Project Department for an initial period of one year, extendable up to 5 years based on satisfactory performance and KRCL’s requirement.
- Place of Posting: VDPD Workshop, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Selected candidates can be posted/transferred anywhere in KRCL establishment during the contract period.
- Age Relaxation: 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates; 5 years for SC/ST candidates; age relaxation for Ex-servicemen is discretionary.
- Annual Increment: Annual remuneration will increase by 4% of consolidated remuneration after completion of every year, subject to KRCL’s requirement and discretion.
- Leave Entitlement: 15 days earned leave on completion of every 6 months (2.5 leaves/month, accumulative but no encashment); 8 days Casual Leave per year; weekly off and public holidays as applicable.
- Indemnity Bond: Selected candidates must execute an agreement and indemnity bond of Rs. 50,000/- in favour of KRCL on stamp paper of Rs. 100/- or more.
- No Permanent Absorption: Selected candidates will not be absorbed in KRCL regular service and must give an undertaking to this effect.
- No Accommodation/Food: No accommodation or food/mess allowance will be provided by KRCL.
- Joining Period: Selected candidates must join within 30 days of issuance of the offer of appointment.
- Termination: Either party can terminate the contract by giving one month’s notice or payment in lieu thereof. KRCL can terminate without notice if performance is unsatisfactory or for misconduct.
- Canvassing: Any kind of canvassing will result in disqualification at any stage of selection.
- Number of Posts: Total 36 posts (UR: 22, EWS: 2, OBC: 8, SC: 3, ST: 1). Number of posts is liable to change as per project requirement.
