- Selection for engagement of Apprentices will be based on percentage (%) of marks in the qualifying examination.
- The candidature of the applicant will be provisional.
- Final selection will be based on Interview / verification of certificates/testimonials and submission of Certificate of Medical Fitness (to be obtained from a Gazetted Government Medical Officer / Medical Officer of a Government Undertaking) at the time of joining.

Other Important Information
- Duration of Training: One Year for all posts.
- Domicile Requirement: Candidates must be domicile of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, or UT of Diu and reside near the respective airport listed under Western Region.
- Minimum Marks: 50% in aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidates) in the qualifying examination.
- Eligibility: Candidates who passed Degree/Diploma on or after 01.04.2022 are eligible. Candidates who have completed more than five years from the date of passing the qualifying examination as on the date of joining shall not be eligible.
- Prior Apprenticeship: Candidates who have already completed, terminated midway, or are currently pursuing apprenticeship with other organizations or AAI with the same qualification level are not eligible.
- Job Experience: Candidates who had training or job experience for a period of one year or more after attainment of essential qualifications are not eligible.
- No Employment Obligation: AAI is not liable to offer any employment to apprentices on completion of apprenticeship training. Candidates shall have no right to claim regular employment from AAI.
- Benefit for Future Recruitment: Apprentices who successfully complete one year of Apprenticeship Training in AAI will be exempted from submitting application fees for future direct recruitment in AAI, subject to fulfillment of other requirements.
- Stipend Payment: Government share (Rs. 6,150/- for Graduate; Rs. 5,450/- for Diploma) will be directly credited to the apprentice’s registered bank account through BOAT via DBT.
- CGPA Conversion: If mark sheet provides CGPA/CGPI/CPI/SGPA, the applicant must convert marks to percentage as per the conversion criteria of the University/Board/AICTE/Institute.
- OBC NCL Certificate: Candidates applying under OBC category must submit a valid Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate as per Government of India rules.
- Single Discipline Application: Candidates applying for more than one discipline will not be considered and their application will be rejected.
