  1. Candidates must go through the detailed advertisement before submission of application.
  2. Register and apply online through the online portal available at CSIR-IMMT website: rects.immt.res.in
  3. The process consists of two parts: (a) One time registration, (b) Filling online application.
  4. Take a printout of the application form after successful submission.
  5. Candidates who wish to apply for more than one post must apply separately for each post code.
  6. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for a Walk-in Interview at CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar with original documents including: Print out of online application form, Any ID proof (Aadhaar/Voter ID/PAN/Passport/Driving License), Mark sheets and certificates from 10th onwards, Category/EWS Certificate (if applicable), No Objection Certificate (if applicable), Experience Certificate (if applicable).
  7. No interview call letter will be issued separately.
  8. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview.

Other Important Information

  • All posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the duration of the respective project.
  • The applicant must be a citizen of India.
  • All positions are tenable at CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar. Project staff may be required to travel outside Bhubaneswar as per project needs.
  • Age relaxation: SC/ST/PwBD/Women – 5 years; OBC – 3 years (as per Govt. of India instructions).
  • Result awaiting candidates are NOT eligible to apply.
  • The total period of engagement under one project and/or combination of different projects shall not exceed 6 years (7 years in case of PSU/Industry/Start-up funded projects of 12 months or less duration).
  • Engagement may be terminated at any time on a notice of one month from either side or one month emoluments in lieu thereof.
  • Initial offer of engagement shall be for a period of one year or up to the duration of the project, whichever is earlier.
  • Women project personnel are eligible for maternity leave of 180 days; male project personnel for paternity leave of 15 days (only in case of two surviving children).
  • Project personnel are entitled to 12 days of leave per year (1 day per month); leave beyond this shall be without emoluments.
  • Candidates currently employed must furnish a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer.
  • PhD students (AcSIR etc.) can apply only if their research domain is aligned with the project area and must produce NOC from Director/Competent Authority at the time of interview.
  • Unless otherwise mentioned, equivalent/higher degrees shall not be considered as essential qualification.
  • CSIR-IMMT reserves the right not to fill up any position(s) and to cancel the recruitment at any stage.
  • No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview.
