Stage-I: Trade Test
Candidates shortlisted by the Screening Committee will be invited for a Trade Test to evaluate practical knowledge as per the job requirements. The Selection Committee will decide the mode and conduct of the Trade Test.
Stage-II: Competitive Written Examination (CWE)
Candidates who qualify the Trade Test will be eligible for the Competitive Written Examination (OMR Based or Computer Based Objective Type Multiple Choice).

- Paper-I (1 Hour): Mental Ability Test – 50 Questions, 100 Marks (2 marks each), No Negative Marking
- Paper-II (30 Minutes): General Awareness – 25 Questions, 75 Marks (3 marks each, -1 for wrong); English Language – 25 Questions, 75 Marks (3 marks each, -1 for wrong)
- Paper-III (1 Hour): Concerned Subject – 50 Questions, 150 Marks (3 marks each, -1 for wrong)
