- Walk-in Interview/Test will be conducted on 09.07.2026 (Thursday) for Group-A & Group-B and 10.07.2026 (Friday) for Group-C & Group-D.

Other Important Information
- Purely Temporary/Contract Basis: Engagement is on purely temporary/contract basis co-terminus with the respective time-bound project. It confers no rights for continuation beyond tenure, absorption, or regularization in CSIR/CSIR-NML.
- Termination: Engagement may be terminated at any time by giving one month’s notice from either side or one month’s stipend in lieu thereof.
- Maximum Tenure: Candidates who have already been engaged in CSIR-NML or any other CSIR Lab/Institute as Project Staff for 6 years or more are NOT eligible. Those engaged for less than 6 years will have their tenure automatically end on completion of 6 years.
- Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
- Fund Availability: Offer of engagement will be issued subject to receipt of funds in the respective project from the funding agency.
- No TA/DA: No Travelling Allowance/Daily Allowance will be paid for attending the Walk-in Interview/Test.
- Final Year Students: Final Semester/Year students awaiting results and not in possession of final result as on the date of Walk-in Interview are NOT eligible.
- Cut-off Date: The cut-off date for determining essential qualifications and upper age limit shall be the scheduled date of interview.
- Indian Nationals Only: Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
- Gender Balance: Women candidates are encouraged to apply.
