Selection Procedure

- Short-listing: Candidates will be shortlisted based on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification applicable to the respective trades/disciplines.
- Tie-breaking: In case of same percentage of marks by more than one candidate, relative merit shall be decided based on seniority in age.
- Certificate Verification: Shortlisted candidates shall be issued an offer of Internship Training through the PMIS portal and will have to appear for verification of original certificates (age, qualification, caste, disability etc.) as per the date mentioned in the offer letter.
- Medical Fitness: On successful completion of certificate verification, candidates shall be provisionally inducted for internship training, subject to medical fitness.
- Character Verification: Selection of candidates will be subject to verification of character and antecedents and verification of caste certificates if applicable.

- Duration: Nine (9) months internship as per the Prime Minister Internship Scheme.
- Ineligibility Criteria:
- Graduates/Postgraduates from IITs, IIMs, National Law Universities, IISER, NIDs, IIITs and IISc.
- Those having qualifications such as CA, CMA, CS, MBBS, BDS, MD, MS, MBA or equivalent, MPhil and PhD.
- Those undergoing any skill, apprenticeship, internship or training program under Central/State Government schemes.
- Those who have completed apprenticeship/training under NATS or NAPS at any point.
- If the income of any family member exceeds Rs. 12 lakh in the preceding FY as on the date of application submission.
- If any member of the family is a permanent/regular government employee.
- Travel Expenses: No travel expenses are admissible for attending certificate verification or during the internship training period.
- Boarding/Lodging: Boarding or lodging will not be provided by CSL during the internship period.
- No Employment Guarantee: CSL is not liable for any appointment during or after the completion of internship. Upon completion, CSL shall have no obligation to offer employment.
- Offer Communication: Offer of Internship training shall not be sent by post; candidates shall be informed through the PMIS portal only.
- Jurisdiction: Any legal proceedings shall be instituted only in Courts/Tribunals/Forums at Ernakulam.
- Only Indian Nationals need apply.
