- Tenure: As per Section 17(1)(a) of the Tribunal Reforms Act, 2026, the Presiding Officer of a DRT shall hold office for a term of five years or till he attains the age of seventy years, whichever is earlier.
- Reappointment: As per Section 17(2) of the Tribunal Reforms Act, 2026, the Chairperson or Member of a Tribunal shall be eligible for consideration for reappointment in accordance with the provisions of Section 14 of the Tribunal Reforms Act, 2026.
- Resignation/VRS: Where the person appointed as a Chairperson or a Member is a serving Judge of the Supreme Court or a High Court or a serving Member of any service of the Central Government or State Government or their undertaking, he shall either resign or obtain voluntary retirement from his parent service before joining the Tribunal.
- No TA/DA: No TA/DA will be admissible to candidates called for interview/interaction. Candidates are required to make their own arrangements.
