Selection Procedure

- Written Test: Consists of 25% General Aptitude and 75% subject/trade related questions. Minimum qualifying marks: 40% for General/EWS category and 35% for SC/ST/PwBD/OBC(NCL) category. May be conducted as Computer Based Test (CBT) or Pen Paper Based Test (PBT).

- Final Grading: Written Test carries 85% weightage and Group Discussion/Interview carries 15% weightage, totalling 100%.

Other Important Information
- Posts are purely on contract basis for an initial period of 02 years, extendable by a maximum of 01 year based on organizational requirement and individual performance.
- This is NOT a regular post. The contract will stand automatically terminated at the end of the period unless intimated otherwise in writing. GSL does not provide any assurance for regular employment on completion of contract tenure.
- 70% of consolidated pay will be considered as Basic Pay for calculation of statutory benefits like PF, Gratuity, etc.
- Vacancies mentioned are unfilled vacancies of Advt No. 02/2025 and 02/2026 for open advertisement on all India basis.
- Lateral Entry to 3rd Semester of 8 Semester course / 2nd year of 4 years course will also be considered as equivalent qualification for engineering disciplines.
- Post Graduate Integrated Degree Courses (5 years duration after 10+2) will also be allowed for engineering disciplines.
- Only Post Qualification Experience will be considered. Apprenticeship in any industry shall also be considered as experience.
- Candidates from reserved categories fulfilling eligibility criteria may also apply for UR posts; no relaxation will be applicable in such cases.
- OBC (NCL) certificate should not be more than 06 months old at the time of joining.
- There will be no transfer of service benefits from previous employment to GSL or pay protection. NOC is not mandatory for candidates applying against Project Executive posts; however, a proper relieving letter must be produced before joining.
- Candidates who complete 02 years as Trainee Project Executive in GSL will be eligible for internal weightage in marks for Junior Project Executive posts advertised, as per GSL rules.
- All outstation candidates qualified for interview/Group Discussion will be paid to and fro AC II Tier rail fare by shortest route from their nearest railway station to GSL, on production of proof of journey.
- TA payment shall be made through ECS mode only.
- Application fee of Rs. 500/- is non-refundable. Candidates must verify eligibility before making payment.
- Call letters for selection process will be sent only through E-mail to shortlisted candidates’ registered Email ID.
- For any dispute, the jurisdiction shall be Goa only.
- Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
