- Citizenship: Candidate must be an Indian citizen or possess nationality as per Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967, Rule-7.
- Disability (Divyang) Candidates: Eligible disability types include LV (40-70%), OA, BA*, OL, BL*, CP, Dw, AAV, SD, SI, ID, MI, MD (40-70%). BA* and BL* candidates’ eligibility for appointment will be decided by the concerned department based on Medical Board opinion.
