- Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (Ayurveda) from a recognized University/Institution; OR Diploma in Pharmacy (Ayurveda) from a recognized University/Institution with about two years experience as a pharmacist or compounder in Government/Local Body/Government Undertaking/Board/Corporation/Limited Company established under the Companies Act, 2013. Basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules 1967. Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
- Age Limit: 18 to 35 years as on 29/05/2026. Age relaxation applicable for females (General: up to 40 yrs), Reserved category males (up to 40 yrs), Reserved category females (up to 45 yrs), PwD General male (up to 45 yrs), PwD General female (up to 45 yrs), PwD Reserved male (up to 45 yrs), PwD Reserved female (up to 45 yrs), Ex-Servicemen (service period + 3 years).

- Written Competitive Examination (MCQ): A single-stage objective type MCQ examination will be conducted via CBRT (Computer Based Response Test) or OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) method.
- Exam Structure:
– Part-A (90 Marks, 90 Questions): Reasoning & Data Interpretation (30), Quantitative Aptitude (30), Constitution of India & Current Affairs & Comprehension (30).
– Part-B (120 Marks, 120 Questions): Subject-related questions based on technical qualification (Ayurveda Pharmacist syllabus).
– Total: 210 Questions, 210 Marks, Duration: 3 hours (180 minutes). - Negative Marking: 1/4 mark deducted for each wrong answer.
- Minimum Qualifying Standard: 40% marks separately in both Part-A and Part-B for all categories.
- Merit List: Based on marks/Normalized marks obtained in the competitive examination. Bonus marks (5%) applicable for Widows and eligible Sports persons as per rules.
- Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted (approximately 2x the number of vacancies) based on provisional merit will be called for certificate verification.
