- Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering (or equivalent as specified: Diploma in Civil Construction, Diploma in Civil Public Health and Environment Engineering, Diploma in Construction Technology, etc.) from a recognized institution, OR passed one/two years Surveyor course from Government-recognized ITI. Basic computer knowledge. Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both. Note: Candidates holding Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering are NOT eligible.
- Age Limit: 18 to 33 years as on 29/05/2026. Age relaxation: General PwD Male: 10 years (max 43); General PwD Female: 15 years (max 45); Reserved PwD Male: 15 years (max 45); Reserved PwD Female: 20 years (max 45).
- Pay Scale: Fixed pay of Rs. 26,000/- per month for first 5 years; after 5 years regular pay scale Rs. 25,500/- to Rs. 81,100/- (Level-4) as per 7th Pay Commission subject to satisfactory service.

- Written Competitive Examination (MCQ/CBRT/OMR): A single-stage objective type Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) examination will be conducted via CBRT (Computer Based Response Test) or OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) method.
- Part-A (90 Marks, 90 Questions):
- Reasoning & Data Interpretation: 30 Marks
- Quantitative Aptitude: 30 Marks
- Constitution of India, Current Affairs, Gujarati & English Comprehension: 30 Marks
- Part-B (120 Marks, 120 Questions):
- Questions related to Technical Qualification (Surveying subjects): 120 Marks
- Total: 210 Questions, 210 Marks, Duration: 3 Hours (180 Minutes)
- Negative Marking: 1/4 mark deducted for each wrong answer.
- Minimum Qualifying Standard: 40% in both Part-A and Part-B separately (applicable to all categories).
- Merit List: Prepared based on total marks obtained. Sports merit (5% bonus marks) and Widow candidate benefit (5% bonus marks) applicable as per rules.
- Document Verification: Candidates approximately twice the number of vacancies (group-wise) will be called for certificate verification based on provisional merit.
- Final Selection List: Prepared based on merit after document verification, category-wise as per disability group (A, B, C, D & E).

- Special Recruitment Drive: This recruitment is exclusively for Persons with Disabilities (PwD/Divyang) under Special Recruitment Drive to fill backlog reserved vacancies. No category-wise (SC/ST/SEBC/EWS) separate reservations are maintained; however, selected candidates will be adjusted against their respective category.
