Other Important Information

  • Tenure: Initial appointment is for 44 days, extendable for further 44 days (with one day break) on written request recommended by HOD, or till appointment through Central Appointment Committee, whichever is earlier. Maximum tenure is 03 years including previous tenure in any Govt. Hospital/Institute/Organization.
  • Termination: Services may be terminated without prior notice upon joining of regular SR appointees from the Central Appointment Committee.
  • Relaxed Criteria: SRs who have already completed 03 years tenure may apply under relaxed criteria (admissible for one year on ad-hoc basis).
  • DMC Registration: Valid DMC registration certificate required at the time of interview, OR proof of having applied for DMC with proper acknowledgement. Valid DMC Registration Certificate must be submitted within 45 days of joining, failing which candidature will be cancelled.
  • Inter-Hospital Transfer: Not permitted.
  • NOC: Candidates already in Govt. Service must submit No Objection Certificate from present employer at the time of attendance.
  • No TA/DA will be paid for the interview.
  • OBC Candidates: Must submit caste certificate issued by Competent Authority of GNCT of Delhi (non-creamy layer, current financial year). Outside Delhi OBC candidates will be treated as UR (General) category.
  • EWS Candidates: Must submit EWS certificate issued on or before the date of interview.
  • SC/ST Certificate: Must be issued from Judicial/Revenue Authorities as per MHA guidelines.
