Selection Procedure

Selection Procedure:
- Selection will be based on Merit.
- Merit will be finalized by adding 70% weightage to the percentage obtained in High School and 30% weightage to the percentage obtained in ITI.
- Approximation will not be considered (e.g., 86.45% will not be rounded to 86.50%).
- If result is in CGPA, equivalent percentage (correct to two decimal places) as per certified conversion formula of the board/council shall be filled.
- Only Provisionally Selected candidates will be called for Document Verification at the Technical Training Centre on a designated date and time.
- Offer for one year apprentice training will be given to candidates on proper verification of original documents.
- List of Provisionally Selected candidates shall be declared on the website http://59.89.119.210/trg on or before 10 July 2026.
- Candidature shall be immediately rejected on canvassing.
- Candidature shall be rejected without prior information if the candidate is found ineligible at any stage of the selection process.

- Training Duration: One year apprentice training as per Apprentices Act 1961.
- Stipend: Stipend will be payable during apprenticeship training as per rules.

- Appearing/Result Awaited: Candidates with status ‘Appearing’ or ‘Result Awaited’ are not eligible. Candidates with pending Back Papers or awaited Supplementary Exam results are also not eligible.
- Police Verification: Candidates will have to obtain a Police Verification Certificate from the Commissioner/Superintendent of Police from their place of residence and submit it at the time of joining Apprentice Training after successful Document Verification.
- HAL Employees’ Dependents: Dependents of Working/Superannuated/Deceased HAL employees must upload a Dependent Declaration Form certified by the HR officer of the respective Division.
- Reservation: SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Disabled candidates will be extended reservation as per the Apprentice Act.
- Right to Cancel: HAL reserves the right to cancel the advertisement or selection process at any time without giving any reason.
- Final Authority: Decision of HAL management regarding the selection will be final.
