Selection Procedure

Selection Procedure:
- Librarian (Group-C): Final Merit List shall be drawn on the basis of marks obtained in the Written Test (Competitive Examination as per Schedule-IV, Part-G of R&P Rules, 2015).
- Peon, Mali, Cook-cum-Attendant (Group-D): Candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio 1:3 for Evaluation/Document Verification on the basis of marks obtained in Matriculation (calculated out of 85 marks) and Evaluation (15 marks). Final merit list shall be drawn on the basis of marks obtained in educational qualification and evaluation.
- Evaluation Criteria (15 Marks) for Group-D Posts:
- Belonging to notified Backward Area/Panchayat: 01 Mark
- Landless family/family having land less than 1 hectare: 02 Marks
- Non-employment Certificate (no family member in Govt./Semi-Govt. service): 2.5 Marks
- Differently abled persons with more than 40% disability: 01 Mark
- NSS (at least one year)/NCC/Bharat Scout and Guide/National level sports medal winner: 01 Mark
- BPL family (annual income below Rs. 40,000/-): 2.5 Marks
- Widow/divorced/destitute/single woman: 01 Mark
- Single daughter/Orphan: 1.5 Marks
- Experience up to 5 years in Govt./Semi-Govt. Organization (0.5 marks per completed year): 2.5 Marks
- The High Court reserves the right to conduct Screening/Proficiency/Written Test at District Headquarter Shimla.
