Server Administrator (Grade D)

Essential: Hands-on experience on Linux Server Administration (RHEL or similar) AND at least elementary experience on Network Management (L3 Switch).
- Age Limit: Minimum: 25 years, Maximum: 33 years (as on 01.09.2026). Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.09.1993 and not later than 01.09.2001 (both dates inclusive).
- Pay Scale: Basic Pay: ₹35,400/- per month
Selection Procedure

- Step 3 – Online Examination: Comprises two sections: (1) Aptitude – 30 Questions, 30 Marks; (2) Professional Knowledge – 70 Questions, 70 Marks. Total: 100 Questions, 100 Marks. Composite time of 90 minutes. Conducted in English. Penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. No penalty for unattempted questions.
- Step 4 – Personal Interview: Candidates successful in the online examination will appear for a Personal Interview, typically on the same day or the next day.
- Merit List: Final selection based on overall performance. Provisionally selected candidates will be informed by email/letter. A wait list will also be maintained valid for six months.
- Probation Period: 1 year from the date of joining.
- Service Agreement Bond: Selected candidates must execute a Service Bond of Rs. 1 lakh and serve a minimum of 2 years in IBPS.

- Candidates serving in Government/quasi-govt/PSU must produce a No Objection Certificate in original from their employer.

- Service Agreement Bond: Selected candidates must execute a Service Bond of Rs. 1,00,000 (Rupees One Lakh) and serve a minimum period of 2 years in IBPS from the date of joining, failing which they shall pay Rs. 1 lakh to IBPS.

- Job Responsibilities: Server Administration, Network Administration, Backup Administration, Email Administration (MS Exchange, Anti-Spam, ATP), Linux OS/VLAN (L3)/Firewall configuration and troubleshooting. Full 24×7 commitment required.
- This position is NOT open to internal candidates (either regular or contractual).
