  1. Written Examination: Candidates shall appear in a written test comprising the following subjects:

  • The appointment is on adhoc basis for a period of six months or till regular appointments are made by the Hon’ble High Court, whichever is earlier.
  • Number of vacancies may be altered without any prior notice.
  • Only EWS, Scheduled Caste, BC/OBC, Ex-Serviceman, Freedom Fighter candidates of Punjab domicile are eligible for reservation benefits.
  • Reservation for PwBD candidates shall be provided as per rules.
  • Candidates belonging to reserved categories must attach a copy of their respective category certificate issued by the competent authority, failing which they will be considered in General Category.
  • All particulars including category and sub-category once filled shall be sacrosanct and no change shall be permitted at any stage.
  • Applications must be filled in CAPITAL LETTERS and submitted with all requisite documents.
  • Each envelope must contain only one application, superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CLERK ON ADHOC BASIS”.
  • Incomplete or wrongly filled forms will be summarily rejected.
  • No TA/DA will be given to candidates appearing for the test.
  • The scheduled test can be postponed/cancelled without prior notice.
  • Admission at all stages is purely provisional and subject to verification of eligibility conditions.
  • If a candidate’s degree has not been issued yet, they must submit an undertaking as per Annexure ‘A’ along with marksheets of all semesters/years. However, if selected, joining will be allowed only on furnishing the graduation degree issued on or before the last date of receipt of applications (06.06.2026).
  • This office will not be responsible for any postal delay or wrong delivery.
  • Emoluments: Rs. 29,200/- per month as per Punjab Government letter dated 12.09.2024 read with letter dated 03.12.2024 of the Hon’ble Punjab & Haryana High Court.
