- The engagement is purely on contract basis for an initial period of six months, extendable further on six monthly basis till posts are filled on regular basis through DSSSB, whichever is earlier.
- The contractual agreement can be terminated by either party by giving one month notice in advance, or by the candidate by depositing one month’s contractual remuneration.
- The appointee will be entitled to one day paid leave per month.
- No benefits such as Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Attendance, or Seniority will be admissible.
- Contractual engagement will not bestow any claim or right for regular appointment.
- The engagement carries liability to serve in any zonal office or HQ within MCD jurisdiction.
- A Medical Fitness Certificate from a qualified Medical Officer is required at the time of acceptance of the post.

- A contract agreement on Rs. 100/- Non-Judicial stamp paper duly attested by notary public must be furnished at the time of joining.
- MCD reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies or cancel all vacancies without assigning any reason.
