Selection Procedure:

  • Personal Interview (PI): The primary selection method. Eligible candidates will be called for PI in the ratio of 1:10 (post: number of candidates) after screening of applications.
  • Screening (if required): If the number of eligible candidates exceeds the 1:10 ratio, one or a combination of the following screening methods may be used:
    • On the basis of higher inline relevant educational qualifications than minimum prescribed.

    • Written (Screening) Test: MRPL reserves the right to conduct an additional written screening test. Qualifying marks for UR/OBC(NCL) category shall be 50%.
  • Screening criteria (if conducted) shall be for elimination purpose only and will not have any weightage in final merit.
  • Merit List: Once shortlisted for PI, merit will be drawn purely on the basis of performance in PI. Qualifying marks in PI shall be 50%.
  • Tie-breaking: In case more than one candidate secures the same marks in PI, the candidate older in age by date of birth shall be considered.

  3. After generating Login ID and Password, click on ‘Sign In’ and fill in the online application form with correct details including educational qualifications, caste, and other required information.
  4. Upload scanned copies of all required documents including photograph, signature, educational credentials, work experience documents, caste certificate (if applicable), PwBD certificate (if applicable), etc.
  5. Upon submission of particulars, the online system will generate an Application ID which will be sent via email/SMS.
  6. For General, OBC(NCL) and EWS candidates: Click on ‘Pay Now’, select Payment Category as ‘Advt. No. MRPL/PFTE/2026/01’, and complete the online payment of ₹118/-. Save and upload the payment confirmation receipt.
  7. After making payment, come back to the MRPL page, click on ‘Already Paid’, sign in using Login-ID and password, submit SBI e-Collect Reference Number, Payment Bank Name and Payment Date, upload payment confirmation receipt, and click ‘Next’.

  • Nature of Employment: Personnel on Fixed Term Employment (PFTE) for a period of 3 years, extendable for an additional 2 years (maximum 5 years including all extensions).
  • Job Location: Mangalore, Karnataka. Candidates may be required to work in rotating shifts including night shifts.
  • Emoluments: Annual Consolidated Pay of ₹13 Lakh p.a. (for >5 to 6 years experience) or ₹14 Lakh p.a. (for >6 years experience). Additional benefits include PF (as per EPFO statutory ceiling), Gratuity (after 1 year), Medical Facility, Leave Provision, Telephone Usage Reimbursement.
  • Compensation: Ex-gratia of ₹25 Lakh for death (natural/accidental); additional ₹25 Lakh for accidental death arising out of employment on company premises.
  • PwBD Eligibility: Post identified suitable for HH (Hard of Hearing), ASD(M) (Autism Spectrum Disorder – Mild), SLD (Specific Learning Disability) with minimum 40% disability.
  • Travelling Expenses: 3AC train fare or AC bus fare (limited to 3AC train fare) reimbursable for attending written test (if applicable) and Personal Interview. PwBD candidates may also be reimbursed for one attendant as per Govt. guidelines.
  • NOC Requirement: Candidates employed in Central/State Government/PSEs/Autonomous bodies must produce NOC from present employer or forward application through proper channel at the time of PI.
