Selection Procedure

Selection Procedure:

Merit-Based Selection: Selection will be done on the basis of a merit list prepared separately for Non-ITI and Ex-ITI categories.
Non-ITI Merit List: Prepared on the basis of overall percentage of marks in Madhyamik/Matriculation (Class X or equivalent) in all subjects, irrespective of Board. A common merit list will be prepared and trades will be allotted on Merit-cum-Choice basis.
Ex-ITI Merit List: Prepared trade-wise on the basis of simple average of percentage of marks in both Matriculation and ITI (minimum 50% aggregate in each). Marks in all subjects of Matriculation and marks in provisional/final ITI certificate will be considered.
Tie-Breaking: In case of equal marks/percentage, the older candidate is preferred. If date of birth is also the same, the candidate who passed Matriculation earlier (by year) is preferred. If the year of passing is also the same, alphabetical order of names is used.
Document Verification: Only provisionally selected candidates will be called for document verification.
Medical Examination: After successful document verification, selected candidates must undergo medical examination by Asst. Civil Surgeon of Govt. Hospital/CGHS recognized hospital. Engagement is subject to medical fitness as per prescribed standards.
Reservation: Applicable as per Apprentices Act 1961, Apprenticeship Rules 1992, Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016, and existing Government Rules.

Registration: Training is subject to registration by respective RDSDEs. If registration is not possible, training will be terminated immediately.
