- Eligibility: Only Indian Nationals above 18 years are eligible. Candidates must be registered in Agartala Employment Exchange or Sepahijala Employment Exchange and possess Tripura state domicile.
- Training: Selected candidates will undergo training for 2 years at identified NEEPCO sites.
- Service Agreement Bond: ₹1,00,000/- + GST for UR/EWS candidates; ₹50,000/- + GST for SC/ST/Physically Challenged persons. Candidates must serve for a minimum of 3 years after completion of 2 years of training.
- Age Relaxation: Ex-Servicemen get additional 10 years relaxation over and above the upper age limit for their respective category.
- Medical Fitness: Candidates must undergo medical examination before joining. No relaxation in prescribed health standards is allowed.
- TA/DA: Will be paid to candidates for appearing in the written test.
- NOC Required: Persons working in Government/Public Sector Enterprises/Autonomous bodies must produce a No Objection Certificate at the time of written test.
- EWS Certificate: Must be valid for FY 2026-27 based on income of FY 2025-26.
- Jurisdiction: Any legal proceedings shall be instituted only in Shillong, Meghalaya.
- Compensation Package: Basic Pay ₹29,300/- + DA + HRA (where Corporation accommodation not available) + Cafeteria @ 35% of Basic Pay + Location Based Allowance (LBA) @ 10% of Basic Pay + 12% of Basic Pay plus DA towards PF + 9% of Basic Pay plus DA towards NEDCSS. Minimum monthly CTC ~₹59,000/-.
