- Computer Based Test (CBT): An objective type written test conducted online. Note: The CBT for all posts (Vacancy Notice Nos. 26/2026 to 32/2026) may be conducted on the same day and at the same time.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be required to produce original documents for verification of eligibility, experience, and other criteria.
- Medical Examination: Selected candidates will undergo a medical examination as per the Directives of the Company and Indian Railway Medical Manual (IRMM). - Absorption Basis: Posts are on Absorption Basis in IDA Pay Scale of Rs. 40,000-1,25,000 (NE-4). Applications are invited from Regular/Contractual employees working in Operations & Maintenance departments of Indian Railways/Government owned or operated Railways/Metro Railways/RRTS.
- Medical Standards: Aye-three (A-3) for all posts except Train Manager/Station Manager/Depot Controller/Operations Controller/Junior Engineer (Safety – Operations) which require Aye-one (A-1).
- Minimum Experience: Minimum 03 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field within Operations & Maintenance departments of Indian Railways, Government-owned or Government-operated Railways, Metro Railways, or RRTS systems.
- Competency/Experience Certificate: Candidates must submit a Competency Certificate or Experience Certificate issued by their employer, clearly indicating the required work experience, including year-wise details of the nature and type of work performed.
- Single Application: Candidates can apply against only one post from vacancy notice nos. 26/2026 to 32/2026. Only one application can be submitted.
- Controller/Safety Assignment: Candidates applying must indicate their willingness for Controller or Safety assignment in the online application form and furnish their order of preference. However, allocation of post/assignment shall be made by NHSRCL at its discretion.
- Probation Period: Applicants appointed on absorption basis will be on probation for a period of one year.
- Surety Bond on Joining: Selected candidates must execute a surety bond of Rs. 3,00,000/- to serve the corporation for a minimum period of 4 years (exclusive of LWP/EOL period) with a prior notice of 90 days before resignation.
- Surety Bond on Training: If training is imparted, candidates must execute a surety bond for the cost of training to serve for a minimum of 6 years after training completion, with 3 months prior notice before resignation.
- Pay & Emoluments: Pay as per IDA (Industrial DA) Non-Executive pay scales including Perks, HRA, Medical Benefits, Other allowances, EPF, Gratuity etc.
- Experience Not Counted: Teaching/Faculty/Apprenticeship/Internship/Proprietorship/Partnership/Freelancer experience will not be considered.
- Place of Posting: Anywhere in NHSRCL/MAHSR Project.
- TA for Outstation Candidates: Outstation candidates called for interview will be paid TA as per company rules.
- Fee Non-Refundable: Recruitment fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
