Shortlisting (for Medical Officer – Homeopathy only): Shortlisting ratio is 1:10 (ten candidates per post). If eligible candidates exceed 10, shortlisting is based on: Weightage of % marks in BHMS (80 marks, e.g., 60% = 48 marks) + Marks for relevant MD degree (20 marks) = Total 100 marks. In case of tie at cut-off, all tied candidates will be shortlisted.
Selection Criteria (All Posts):
- Qualification: 70 marks (60 marks for essential qualification + up to 10 marks for relevant higher qualifications)
- Interview: 30 marks
- Total: 100 marks
Qualifying marks in Interview: 18 marks for UR/EWS/OBC; 12 marks for SC/ST.
Merit List: Candidates qualifying the interview will be empaneled. Offer of appointment is based on relative rank in the merit list (sum of qualification + interview marks).
Tie-breaking: For Specialist & Homeopathy posts – higher interview marks; if still tied, older candidate is senior. Engagement Type: Fixed Term Basis up to 30.06.2028 (from date of joining).
Nature of Duty: Full Time.

PwBD: No posts are reserved for PwBD, but Medical Officer – Occupational Health, Medical Officer – Homeopathy, and Medical Officer – Physician posts are identified as suitable for certain PwBD categories.
Candidate must possess essential qualifications and valid registration with the concerned statutory authority on the date of interview.
MBBS/MD/MS/BHMS must be registered with MCI/NMC/NCH/State as applicable.
