The selection of candidates for recruitment to the post of Geologist shall be made through a competitive examination conducted in two stages:

- Personality Test / Interview – 50 Marks
- Candidates shortlisted from Written Examination in ratio of 1:2 of advertised vacancies per category (minimum 5) will be called for Interview.
Total Marks: 500
Select List: Merit list will be drawn based on aggregate marks in Written Examination and Interview. In case of tie, higher marks in Written Examination will be preferred; further tie resolved by seniority in age.
