Selection Procedure

- Written Test: 100 marks, MCQ type (OMR/CBRE Mode), one paper only.
- Questions on subjects as per syllabus of Diploma in Medical Radiation Technology (DMRT): 60 questions, 60 marks
- General Knowledge: 20 questions, 20 marks
- Arithmetic (Middle School Certificate Standard): 15 questions, 15 marks
- English (High School Certificate Standard): 5 questions, 5 marks
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer. No penalty for unattempted questions.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: 30% for ST/SC/PwDs/Ex-Servicemen; 35% for all other categories.
- Tie-Breaking Criteria: (a) Higher % marks in DMRT; (b) Age seniority (older candidate ranked higher); (c) Higher marks in +2 examination; (d) Commission’s discretion.
- Document Verification (DV): Candidates shortlisted from Written Test (not less than 1.25 times the number of vacancies, category-wise) shall be called for Document Verification by the Chief District Medical & Public Health Officers.
- Provisional Merit List & Select List: Drawn after Document Verification, district-wise and category-wise, equal to the number of advertised vacancies.
- District Allocation: Based on merit, availability, ‘Not Interested’ option (if any), and candidate’s district preference through online district allocation or Physical Counselling.

- Post Type: District Cadre Group-C post. Selected candidates will be posted and transferred within the district.
- Number of Districts: 240 posts across all 30 districts under Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Odisha.
- District Preference: Candidates must indicate district preferences (up to 3) in the online application. Preference does not guarantee appointment in the chosen district.
- Odia Language Requirement: Candidates must be able to speak, read, and write Odia and must have passed Odia as a language subject at Middle School level or above.
