- Nature of Post: Ex-cadre and Tenure Based post for 04 years, extendable/curtailable as per administrative requirements.
- Posting Locations: Selected candidates may be posted at Lucknow, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, New Delhi etc. as per discretion of RDSO Administration.
- Cooling-off Period: Three years cooling-off period will be maintained between two tenures in RDSO.
- Promotion: The post is ex-cadre and the incumbent will be eligible for further promotion in their parent cadre only.
- Vigilance Clearance: No case under D&AR, SPE/Vigilance should be pending/contemplated. Candidates against whom any penalty was imposed as outcome of vigilance case during previous RDSO tenure will be debarred.
- APAR Requirement: Total APAR Grading of last three years (2022-23, 2023-24 and 2024-25) should not be less than 11 marks and grading of APAR of last year should not be less than ‘GOOD’.
- Medical Category: B-1 is required.
- MACP Note: Experience in ex-cadre posts and pay level granted due to MACP will not be considered.
- Repatriation: Selected candidates will be repatriated back immediately as and when it is decided by the administration that their services are no more required.
- Vacancy Change: Vacancy position may be changed at the discretion of RDSO. Selected candidates are liable to be posted anywhere in India.
- Higher Level Applicants: Sr. Section Engineers working in a Level higher than Level-7 may also apply; in case of selection, they may be transferred to RDSO along with their substantive post of appropriate Level (8 & above).
