Selection Procedure

Selection Procedure:
- Applications received by the due date will be screened/scrutinized.
- The list of eligible and ineligible candidates will be displayed on the University website.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. A maximum of 15 candidates will be called for a single post; for multiple posts, candidates shall be called in the ratio of 1:10 based on scores secured during scrutiny (as per UGC Notification 18th July 2018; Table 3A of Appendix-II for Assistant Professor and Table 2 of Appendix-II for Associate Professor and Professor).
- Screening/Scrutiny and subsequent selection will be as per UGC Notification 18th July 2018 and supported by the Act and Statute of the University.
- The selection committee composition will be as per UGC Notification 18th July 2018.
- Candidates will be judged holistically: cognitive domain (knowledge in subject domain), psychomotor domain (experience and skill), and affective domain (response to questions, confidence, etc.). Vision and strength to empower students for developed Odisha and Vikashit Bharat including Aatmanirbhar Bharat will also be judged.
- Candidates called for interview must come prepared with a PPT including: brief biodata, subject domain strength, practical skill, student empowerment strategy, use of AI in pedagogy, funded research projects, consultancy research, potential for national/international collaborations, and vision for the university and nation building.
- Candidates must bring all relevant original documents and the downloaded application form from the HIMS portal.
