Selection Procedure

- Selection will be made through a Competitive Examination.
- The examination carries a total of 450 marks.
- There will be two papers:
- Paper I (General Studies): 150 marks, duration 1.5 hours. Subjects: History of Rajasthan & Indian History, Mental Ability/Statistics/Mathematics/Language, Current Affairs, General Science/Indian Polity/Geography of Rajasthan, Educational Psychology/Management/Scenario in Rajasthan/RTE Act.
- Paper II (Subjects & Special Education): 300 marks, duration 3 hours. Subjects: Senior Secondary level knowledge of English/Hindi/History/Political Science/Sociology/Music (150 marks) + Special Education (150 marks).
- All questions in both papers will be Multiple Choice Type (Objective).
- Minimum qualifying marks: 40% for each paper (relaxed by 5% for SC/ST candidates).
- Negative Marking: One-third (1/3) of marks deducted for each wrong answer.
- Each question has 5 options (1,2,3,4,5); option 5 must be darkened if not attempting a question, otherwise 1/3 marks will be deducted.
- Scaling/Moderation/Normalization may be applied if required.
- Names of suitable candidates will be recommended to the State Government/Appointing Authority in order of merit based on written examination marks.

- Applicants must be permanently/temporarily registered with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) before the exam date and must submit permanent registration number before appointment.

- OBC/MBC Creamy Layer candidates of Rajasthan must apply under General category.
