Part-I: Computer Based & Written Examination (200 Marks)
- Paper-I (Written/Descriptive – 100 Marks): Short Essay of 400–500 words on specified subjects. Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes (2 hours for eligible scribe candidates).
- Paper-II (Computer Based/Objective – 100 Marks):
- (a) Language – General English or Samanya Hindi: 50 Questions, 50 Marks
- (b) General Knowledge: 50 Questions, 50 Marks

- Negative marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer in Paper-II (CBE)
