- Written Examination (85% weightage): Objective/MCQ based written test of 170 marks covering Mathematics (20), English (20), General Knowledge (100), and Science (30). Bengali/Kokborok (100 marks) is qualifying in nature with minimum 40% marks required.
- Interview (15% weightage): 30 marks. Only candidates obtaining cut-off marks in the written test will be called for interview. Cut-off marks may differ for different categories.
- Physical Standard Test: Candidates must meet minimum height and chest girth requirements as per category (Male General/SC: 163 cm height, 79 cm chest; Male ST: 152 cm, 79 cm; Female UR/SC: 150 cm, 74 cm; Female ST: 145 cm, 74 cm; expansion 05 cm for all).
- Physical Test (Qualifying in nature): Candidates must cover 25 km (men) or 16 km (women) on foot within 4 hours.
- Medical Examination: Candidates qualifying in written test and interview must undergo medical examination conducted by Health Department, Government of Tripura. Persons with disabilities are not eligible.
