Other Important Information:
- Nature of Engagement: Contractual basis as Young Professionals (YPs) in various Directorates/Wings of IN-SPACe at Ahmedabad and Bengaluru.
- Period of Engagement: Initially for one year, extendable up to 03 years (one year at a time). No extension will be granted after three years.
- Annual Increment: 10% annual increment subject to satisfactory performance after completion of 01 year of tenure. Increment may vary: Nil for routine work, 5% for significant contribution, 10% for exemplary performance.
- Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India.
- TA/DA: As per entitlement of Level-10/11 of Central Government employee.
- Working Hours: 9:30 hrs to 18:00 hrs on working days; may be required to work on Saturdays/Sundays and holidays.
- Leave: Paid leave at 1.5 days per completed month. Maternity leave up to 26 weeks for women YPs as per Maternity Benefit Amendment Act, 2017.
- Medical Insurance: Group medical insurance (Mediclaim Policy) covering YP, spouse, and up to 02 dependent children; maximum coverage Rs. 5 lakh per family for entire contract duration.
- Confidentiality: YPs will be governed by the Official Secrets Act, 1923 and must sign a Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement.
- Termination: Engagement may be terminated at any time by giving 15 days’ notice or pay in lieu thereof.
- No Right to Subsequent Employment: Period of engagement as YP does not confer any claim or right for subsequent engagement/employment with IN-SPACe or any other Government body.
- Police Verification & Medical: All selected YPs must submit police verification and medical-cum-fitness certificate before engagement.
- Locations: Ahmedabad (Gujarat) and Bengaluru (Karnataka).
