- The project staff position is on a contract basis and will be up to 31 March 2027 only or co-terminus with the Project(s). Under no circumstances shall the tenure of project staff exceed six-year duration.
- The upper age limit shall be reckoned as on the date of the interview.
- Only candidates who have acquired the essential qualification and whose result has been declared (should have at least a provisional certificate) are eligible.
- Result awaited / Final semester appeared candidates are NOT eligible.
- Experience will be counted from the date after acquiring the essential minimum educational qualification. Dissertation/thesis work during academic period will NOT be counted as experience.
- Part-time, daily wages, visiting/guest faculty experience will NOT be counted for valid experience calculation.
- Time spent in acquiring minimum higher qualification will not be counted as experience over essential qualification.
- Mere fulfilling of minimum qualification does not confer any right to a candidate for selection.
- No upgradation of project staff shall be done in the same or new project.
- CSIR-NIScPR reserves the right to cancel or withdraw the offer of engagement in case of any discrepancy at any stage.
- The selected candidate is expected to join within the time frame mentioned in the offer letter after completion of pre-appointment formalities like medical examination and character verification.
- Engagement under a new project will be made only after submission of duly completed ‘No Demand Certificate’ and ‘No Dues Certificate’ and submission of resignation from the previous project.
- The engagement of project staff may be terminated at any time without assigning any reasons by giving one-month notice.
- Project staff shall make their own arrangement for accommodation. HRA shall be admissible as per applicable rules of the sponsoring agency.
- Number of positions may increase or decrease.
- No claim for permanent position shall be entertained.
- The offer letter shall be issued initially for a period of 6 months; a review committee will assess performance and recommend extension if required, subject to availability of funds.
- Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification.
