- 2 km Run/Walk (Max 10 marks): 9.1-10 min = 5 pts; 8.1-9 min = 7 pts; 7.1-8 min = 8 pts; 6.1-7 min = 9 pts; up to 6 min = 10 pts
- Cricket Ball Throw (Max 10 marks): 50m=5, 55m=6, 60m=7, 65m=8, 70m=10
- Long Jump (Max 10 marks): 12ft=5, 13ft=6, 14ft=7, 15ft=8, 16ft=10
- Candidates failing minimum criteria in any event will be disqualified immediately.
- Preference/Bonus Marks:
- NCC-B/NSS/Scout Guide Certificate: 3 marks
- NCC-C Certificate: 5 marks
- Son/Unmarried Daughter/Spouse of serving/retired Home Guards member (with 10 years satisfactory service): 5 marks
- Educational Qualification: High School = 8 marks; Intermediate = 9 marks; Graduate = 10 marks
- Sports: District/College level = 2 marks; Division/University level = 3 marks; State level = 5 marks
- Driving License (issued at least 1 year before advertisement date): Heavy Vehicle = 5 marks; Light Vehicle = 3 marks
- Final Merit List: Based on total marks (Physical Efficiency Test + Educational Qualification + Preference Marks). Maximum total marks = 60. In case of tie, older candidate preferred; if DOB also same, candidate with higher physical test marks preferred. No waiting list will be prepared.
- Medical Examination: Selected candidates will undergo medical examination by Chief Medical Officer/Principal Medical Superintendent. Vision: 6/6 in dominant eye and 6/9 in other eye (without glasses). Must be free from color blindness, knock knee, flat foot, bow legs, varicose veins, disability, and other deformities.
- Character Verification: Final selected candidates will undergo police character verification.
