- Training period is ONE YEAR commencing from the date of execution of the apprenticeship contract.
- Selected candidates will be informed through email with further joining instructions.
- Only candidates who passed the qualifying examination in the last five years (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 & 2026) are eligible.

- PwBD candidates are eligible only for designated trades as per Apprenticeship Rules 1992.
- Documents required at Document Verification: Ink signed printout of online application, NATS 2.0/NAPS profile signed copy, Mark sheets & Certificates (10th to minimum qualification), Aadhaar Card/Photo ID & Address Proof, Two recent passport size photographs, SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/EWS certificates (if applicable).
- Documents required at Joining: Valid Police Verification Certificate, Certificate of Physical Fitness from Government Hospital Medical Officer, Undertaking for Indian Official Secret Act 1923, Undertaking for IT Rules & Regulations (Ministry of Defence), Aadhaar seeded Bank Account details for DBT Stipend, Three recent passport size photographs.
- NO employment (Permanent/Temporary/Contractual) is offered at DEAL or DRDO after completion of apprenticeship training.
- No TA/DA, accommodation, transport, or medical facilities will be provided during any stage of selection or training.
