Selection Procedure

- Training Duration: 12 months commencing from the date of execution of the contract of Apprenticeship.
- Mandatory NATS Registration: Candidates must register at http://www.mhrdnats.gov.in or http://nats.education.gov.in before applying. Applications of non-registered candidates are liable to be rejected.
- Eligibility (Year of Passing): Only candidates who completed their courses in 2024 & 2025 are eligible. Candidates who passed before 2024 are not eligible.
- Post Graduate Candidates: Candidates possessing post graduate qualifications are not eligible to apply.
- Prior Training/Experience: Candidates who have undergone training or have job experience for one year or more after attaining essential qualification are NOT eligible.
- Previously Terminated Apprentices: Candidates previously terminated from apprenticeship training from any organisation/institute are not eligible.
- No Employment Right: Completion of apprenticeship training in DESIDOC/DRDO shall not confer any right of employment.
- Medical Fitness: Selected candidates must submit a Medical Fitness Certificate at the time of joining.
- Accommodation: No quarters/hostel accommodation or transport will be provided by DESIDOC during the training period.
- Reservation: Applicable as per Apprenticeship Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992. SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates must produce valid caste certificates.
- Jurisdiction: In case of any dispute, the matter shall be subject to the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi.
