- Training Duration: One year commencing from the date of execution of the contract of apprenticeship.
- Eligibility – Qualifying Exam Year: Only candidates who passed their qualifying examination in 2022 or later are eligible. Candidates who passed before 2022 are NOT eligible.
- Regular Candidates Only: Only those who passed as regular candidates are eligible.
- Higher Qualification: Candidates with higher qualification than the specified essential qualification are NOT eligible.
- Work/Training Experience: Candidates who had training or job experience for one year or more after attaining the essential qualification are NOT eligible.
- Previous Apprenticeship: Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under any organisation are NOT eligible.
- Registration Requirement: ITI candidates must register on NAPS portal; Graduate/Diploma candidates must register on NATS portal before appearing for the interview.
- Reservation: Applicable as per The Apprentices Act, 1961. SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates must produce relevant certificates.
- PWD: PWD candidates are eligible only for designated trades as per Apprenticeship Rules.
- Police Verification: Selected candidates must produce a valid police verification certificate at the time of joining from their place of last residence (at least past one year) and permanent address.
- Medical Fitness: Selected candidates must produce a Certificate of Physical Fitness in the prescribed format issued by an authorised Medical Officer of any Government Hospital.
- No Job Guarantee: No employment is offered to apprentices on completion of their apprenticeship training at GTRE.
- No TA/DA: Candidates will NOT be provided any accommodation, transport, or transport allowance during the selection process or training.
