- The fellowship is purely on a temporary basis for the duration mentioned for each project or up to project completion or subject to availability of funds, whichever is earlier, and may be extended as per ICFRE rules.
- Award of fellowship is governed by the rules of Indian Council of Forestry Research & Education, Dehradun and does not guarantee subsequent employment in any Institute under the Council.
- Candidates who have already completed 4 years as SRF/SPF/JRF/JPF will not be considered for the post of JRF/JPF/SRF/SPF.
- Ph.D. period and Teaching experience will not be counted as research experience.
- Candidates already working somewhere must bring NOC from their current institute.
- Director, Forest Research Institute reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions or not to recruit against any post notified without any notice/notification.
- In case of any difference between Hindi and English versions of the advertisement, the English version will be considered as the standard text.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- Age relaxation: Up to 5 years for SC/ST, Women, Physically Handicapped, and OBC candidates.
