Selection Procedure

- Selection will be made on deputation (including short-term contract) on Foreign Service Terms basis.
- Applicants must fulfill the eligibility criteria as on the closing date of applying online (26.06.2026).
- Departmental officers in the feeder cadre category who are in direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation.
- The deputation shall be for a period not exceeding one/two/three years in the first instance, extendable subject to availability of vacancy and performance appraisal of the deputationist.
- The maximum age limit for appointment on deputation shall be 56 years on the last day of receiving online applications.
- Terms of deputation including pay will be governed by DoPT’s OM No. 6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay II) dated 17th June, 2010.
