- Walk-in Interview will be conducted on 10.06.2026 (Wednesday) from 10.00 AM to 01.00 PM at NIOT, Chennai.

- If the number of candidates is more than available vacancies, the Selection Committee may adopt its own criteria to shortlist candidates in proportion to the available vacancies.

- Successful apprenticeship trainees will be awarded the National Apprenticeship Certificate by the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT).

- Place of Posting: NIOT Headquarters, Chennai or its field units at Chittedu & Pamanji, Andhra Pradesh.
- Not Eligible: Post Graduates (including integrated PG), candidates who passed more than 5 years ago, graduates from non-AICTE/DOTE/UGC approved institutions, those already undergoing/undergone NATS 2.0 Apprenticeship in the same qualification, candidates with 1 year or more of work experience, and certificates issued by private bodies.
- Reservation: Applicable for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS/PwBD as per the Apprentices Act. Age relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years, PwBD – 10 years (15 years for SC/ST PwBD, 13 years for OBC NCL PwBD).
- No Employment Obligation: Completion of apprenticeship does not entitle the trainee to any employment at NIOT.
