Selection Procedure

Selection Procedure:
- There shall be No Interview and No Written Exam.
- Eligible candidates shall be selected from the Apprenticeship Portal Database (NAPS/NATS).
- Selection shall be based on a merit list prepared for all applicants.
- Merit list will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks in Matriculation (10th) and ITI course:
- Weightage: 30% to 10th class marks
- Weightage: 70% to ITI marks in concerned trade
- Total Marks: 100
- Preference in Selection:
- 25% seats for each trade will be given to candidates possessing residency certificate of concerned districts (Mandi & Bilaspur, HP for Dehar Power House).
- If reserved seats persist, they will be given to candidates with residency certificate of the State (HP).
- If still unfilled, remaining seats shall be filled through open merit.
- In case of equal marks, the older candidate shall be given preference.
- If dates of birth are also same, the candidate who passed matriculation earlier shall be considered first.
- Reservation as per Apprenticeship Act 1961 and its amendments.

- Apprenticeship training is for a period of One Year under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961.
- Total 45 posts of apprentices are proposed to be filled for the year 2026-27 under Dehar Power House Circle, BBMB, Slapper.
- Candidates whose results are still awaited on the last date of receipt of applications will not be considered.
- Candidates who have already undergone or are undergoing apprenticeship training in any other establishment under Apprenticeship Act 1961 are not eligible to apply.
