Selection Procedure

Selection Procedure:

Shortlisting of candidates shall be governed based on Prescribed Qualification, Score Card and Guidelines for Direct Recruitment of Teachers (No: R/KVAFSU/ACM-CA/Teaching SCD/2025-26 dated 12.11.2025).
Candidates will be shortlisted based on academic score as per the prescribed score card (Annexure 1-3) available on the KVAFSU website.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview.
Candidates who did not study Kannada as first/second/third language in SSLC must qualify a Kannada language test (maximum 150 marks, minimum 50% to qualify) to be eligible for interview.
Procedure for Provisional Selection List preparation shall be in accordance with Karnataka Act No. 1 of 2019.
Mere eligibility will not entitle any candidate for being called for interview; applicants with higher qualification and merit will be given preference.

Other Important Information

Online applications are invited for recruitment of Teaching Posts for Kalyana Karnataka Cadre (371-J) and Residual Parent Cadre in 2016 ICAR/UGC Pay Scale at KVAFSU, Bidar.
Candidates of Veterinary Science must possess and upload a valid registration of Karnataka Veterinary Council/Veterinary Council of India.
Separate applications must be submitted for each post applied along with separate registration fee.
Local candidates of the Kalyana-Karnataka region are eligible to apply for positions in both the Local Cadre and the Residual Cadre.
If a local candidate from the Kalyana-Karnataka region is appointed to a position in the Residual Cadre, such candidates shall not be eligible to claim reservation benefits under Article 371(J) during their entire period of service.
Candidates belonging to SC(A), SC(B), SC(C)/ST/Cat-I/2A/2B/3A/3B must submit proper caste/tribe/community certificate as per the proforma prescribed by Government of Karnataka.
Candidates claiming Rural Quota (Form-1 & 2) must enclose certificate issued by competent authority in prescribed format; Non-Creamy Layer certificate is mandatory for claiming Rural Quota under GM and 2A/2B/3A/3B categories.
Physically challenged persons must furnish Medical Certificate from District Medical Board/appropriate authority.
Selected candidates will be entitled for new pension scheme as per Govt. order No. FD (SN) 04 PET 2006 Dated 31.03.2006.
If a candidate selected in previous KVAFSU teaching recruitments did not join the selected post and further applies to this notification and fails to join, he/she would be made ineligible for all future recruitments of KVAFSU.
