- Contractual Basis: All posts are on contractual basis. Selected candidates will be appointed on training cum probation for two years, followed by a contractual appointment for five years with IDA pay scales.

- Medical Standards: SC/TO: Aye-One (A-1) including naked vision 6/6; JE: Aye-One (A-1), not below Aye-Three (A-3); Maintainers: Bee-One (B-1). Candidates who have undergone Lasik surgery are NOT suitable for any posts.
